Indoor air quality monitoring companies, Airthings has announced two new products in the “Display” series, Radon display and see pollution. These two new models joined the plus appearance launched again in March 2021, offering consumers new ways to oversee the level of air quality of their home, and monitor unknown aroma gases as Radon.
Radon, gas that occurs naturally, is radioactive and can cause lung cancer in people who are exposed to him, EPA explained. Houses in certain parts of the US are susceptible to higher levels of radon than others because of various conditions, including things like geology and whether the structure is built to withstand gas.
Radon with newly announced masthings is one of a number of Radon sensors on the market; This device monitors the Radon level and reminds homeowners when gas is detected. The View Radon is priced at $ 199 USD and is, the company claims, the most advanced Radon monitoring device is currently available for consumers.
Masthings said it would make Radon View available for preorder “in the coming month,” but it hasn’t provided any other details at this time.
Pollution view, meanwhile, is the first sensor of the company dedicated to monitoring home particles at the level between PM 1.0 and PM 2.5. According to Masthings, the range of particulates is the most risky for human health. People who live in certain environments, including cities where there are frequent vehicle traffic and places that experience ordinary forest fires, are very susceptible to lower air quality.
The product view of the pollution was also valued at $ 199 USD with a plan to launch it for preorder “in the coming months.”
